Vintage Excellent Stetson 1950s Beaver 15 O. R. Stratoliner SB 7+ to 7-1/8

  

This Excellent Vintage 1950s Stetson Fedora Beaver Fifteen Fedora - SilverBelly - size 7+ to 7-1/8 (read below). This can be reshaped back into an open crown or Open Road, just write to ask.

We will send pictures after the shaping. It does take some time to reshape a hat and at our ages it takes a little mare time and because we are so particular and want it perfect before sending any pictures. NOTE: we removed the hand bashed pictures since this has been steam shaped into a pinched crown fedora with that great dip on the front brim.

Steaming any shape into this fedora will hold this shapes if you'd like that done please write to us. We took a video but for some unknown reason it's not attaching to the ad. But we believe that most everyone knows these older vintage Stetsons and how easily hand bashing is. So much work goes into hand shaping that Dad has left it in the fedora shape.

If you want it re-steamed into a different shape you must write to us. So it is currently shaped like the first picture, the fedora. Size states 7 but measures to a 7+, just a fraction over a perfect size 7 but about 1/8 of an inch. The size tag started to break apart so we had to tape it. This could be stretched though to a 7-1/8 at the maximum.

It just takes time and patience! Dad always used some Glove Oil before stretching a hat. Applies Glove Oil, allows it to completely absorb and repeats this a second time and then starts stretching it. We filled the picture gallery so you can see every detail, we hid NOTHING. This was worn but very rarely and then stored away.

You can see that the hat is from the 1950 by 7 Key-Hole size tag and the liner has that plastic liner cover. The color is SilverBelly and The picture of the whole underside is the best representation. This is Stetson Beaver Fifteen was one of their BEST everyday hats manufactured at that time! That matches up with the feel of the Beaver material.

Note: that oval Stetson hat box is just for display only. It's out of Dads own collection. If you have any questions please write us. We filled the picture gallery so you can see every angle, we hid NOTHING! There is a tag stating size "7" tag and this measures to a 7+ at 22-1/8 inches.

A perfect size 7-1/8 at 22-3/8 inches and a perfect size 7 is 22 inches. And like always we measure each hat 3 times using different methods to verify the actual size! Size 7+ or 22-1/8 inches or 57.25. Width 11.9 inches, at the widest part, not flattened out. Height 5 inches, at the highest point.
