Vintage Excellent 1970s Stetson Custom GUS-TOM MIX Black 5X Beaver 7-1/8

  

Here is a vintage 1970s-1980s Stetson Resistol 5X Beaver, Black, Gus/Tom Mix shape, custom heavy metal/ 3 piece buckle decorated hat band. The size is a size 7-1/8. This was steam shaped by dad into that old western TOM MIX a style. A hat that you'd see in those 1940s John Wayne serial movies.

This is beautifully shaped into that tradition cowboy shape! You've probably seen this in the Lonesome Dove movie series too! McCray played by Robert Duvall. You can see the bowed up brim sides too, just a really great look!

The pictures doesn't always show the exact color but this a jet black color. The pictures keep coming out a charcoal color but it's NOT charcoal, it's BLACK! This is the older 5X Beaver that is a semi- pliable hat, NOT alike the new rock hard hats that are impossible to shape at home with a steamer. It's soft and thick and easily shaped!

These older vintage hats are very easy to work with and steam a shape into! It's a HUGE a hat box to fit this hat.

It is a LARGE hat box too. It's extremely sturdy and thick heavy cardboard. If you have any questions please write us. Their is a size tag that states 7-1/8 and it measures to perfect 7-1/8 at 22-3/8 inches.

Size 7-1/8 or 22-3/8 inches or 57. Width 13-1/2 inches, not flattened out, at the widest part.

Height 6.5 inches at the rear of the crown and the front is 3.2 inches. Black Grosgrain Ribbon 1-1/8 inches. Please read our very excellent feedback.
