Here just in time for the cooler temps is one of my treasured hats from my "movie collection". I've had a lifelong fascination with the characters of the silver screen in iconic westerns. This gorgeous 5x beaver, Gus crown with a thick leather hat band is nearly identical to the one worn by Tom Selleck in his 1990 Western, Quigley Down Under. This hat is in unworn and nearly new condition. It has been the king of my safe collection.

Please refer to the pictures and you will notice that this hat also features a sewn in bound brim. Take note that this is a tall crown at nearly 5.75 in and a nearly 5 inch brim. This hat will definitely keep the sun at bay. The dramatic rake and shape are befitting of a rough, working man as portrayed by Tom Selleck and his film career.
