NEW Vintage 70s Resistol GUS Quigley 7X BEAVER SilverBelly 7-1/4 HORSEHAIR BAND

  

Heres a NEW 1970s - Early 80s Resistol 7X Beaver SilverBelly (MIST), custom shaped into this excellent Gus/Quigley cowboy hat, size 7-1/4 with a real Horsehair band. Please look at the pictures!

Its in great condition and that custom shape is definitely going to stand out and be noticed! Its a real Cowboy look! The color on the paper tag states, MIST, but its a SilverBelly color. Please look at the pictures, tell us if you dont agree?

NOTE: this was found in that big Stetson box, dads not certain how it ended up there, the box is not included since its not original to the hat. Dad does have a could of the old Resistol boxes though if you want one? You can write to us and we will send you a picture of the old Resistol box. I believe its the brown one and yes it has the inserts. We all know that HATCO has been making Stetson, Resistol and many other companies hats for years now but this is an original Resistol.

These older hats are made so much better than any of the new HATCO hats, theres a world of difference. The reason we tell you this is because these older hats can be easily shaped into any style, where the new ones MUST Be taken to an actual hat shop to get this work done and any shape is not possible. We actually measure each hat 3 times to verify the size, whether tagged or not. This was tagged and measures exactly to a 7-1/4 which is 22-3/4 inches.

Size 7-1/4 or 58 or 22-3/4 inches. Width 14-3/4 inches, widest part of the hat, as is not flattened out. Tall Height 6 inches in the rear and 3.5 inches in the front. Matching Crown Horsehair Band, just like all horsehair bands its not stitched to the hat but is tightened by the end cords. If you have any questions please write to us.
