New (1990s) OFARRELL Custom Hats taupe cowboy rancher hat. This hat shape and form excellent. The older Custom Hatters like OFARREL bought the same Beaver blanks that Stetson bought to make their Stetson 75% Beaver (25% Rabbit) , it is super thick and soft. OFARREL Custom Hatters makes superb custom hats, bought in Durango Colorado these folks are experts with many many years of custom hat making experience.

The wide 4 inch brim is perfect! You can still custom order from OFARREL, there located in New Mexico. It also takes about 3-4 months to get a custom order done. That beaver can get soaked by rain and still dry perfectly. So there are only a couple of companies that actually make hat blanks back then and even now.

Everybody buys the hat blanks from these 1 or 2 companies to actually make their hats. This is the OLDER original Beaver blanks. This is NOT a stiff as a board or really thick hard plastic Un-pliable hat!

This is easily shaped into any style hat with just enough steam and manipulation. There are different types of hat since the 1990s-2000. Dad really loves these custom hat makers and seeks them out when he used to go out on vacation road trips. This is your classic cowboy TV & movie cowboy hat. We listed the color as taupe, its accurately pictured and some folks are saying its a light brown or tan but whatever you all it, its a really great color.

That first picture is the most accurate color. We actually measure each hat 3 times to verify the size, wether tagged or not.

Even when my brother tells us the size! We could not find the original order receipt anywhere.

It measures exactly to a 7-3/8 or 23-1/8 inches. Size 7-3/8 or 59 or 23-1/8 inches.

Width 15 inches, with rolled sides, not flattened out, at widest part. Very very soft material, very soft and thick to the touch. It is beautifully and perfectly shaped well balanced. This is a just a great hat. He has collected for 60 something years now and it is time to sell them.
