100% 100X Stratton Hats custom made handcrafted pure beaver contemporary / western style hat. Size 7 1/8 Long Oval. The fit on this hat runs small. Fits like a size 7. This hat is suitable to wear by men or women.

I designed this har after the one John Wayne wore in Stagecoach. Tne Ringo Kid (JW) has just escaped prison and is wearing a new unshaped cowboy hat. There is a crimp on the left side where he has grabbed it.

I choose to have a center crease unstead of the crimp Crown is shorter than Ringo's and brim is 1 inch less. Picture of Kirsten Dunst wearing similar hat in'Power Of The Dog'. Crown about the same height with a center dent.

Brim is about 1/2" to 1" wider with a slight roll at the edge. This hat has a 6 inch crown with a center crease.

The flat brim is 3 inches wide with a soft roll and natural color ribbon bound edge. Solid Sterling silver buckle set with "self" band. Fine finger dents on upper left front of crown - only visible on close examination. Pure Beaver is impervious to rain.

I selected the flat brim so that water will not collect on the and stream out when you tilt your head. You can wear this hat as a modern/contemporary style or western style w/ a rolled brim, winged brim, rolled wing brim, Cattleman creased..
