Heres a great1960s Resistol 3X Beaver PUMA Brown Classic cowboy hat, size 7-1/8. Please look at the pictures! Its still in great condition.. The box is still in very good condition and it does have all the original inserts. Dad had this shaped into a GUS shaped hat (or as soon folks call it the Quigley shape after the movie) after he saw the Lonesome Dove movie series, after Gus McCray character. Its a real beauty, its the original classic cowboy shape and that vintage 3X Beaver is thick and soft too. That 1960s feather wrap was original to this hat. Still included, maybe they will come back into fashion again? We all know that HATCO has been making Stetson, Resistol and many other companies hats for years now but this is an original Resistol. These older hats are made so much better than any of the new HATCO hats, theres a world of difference. We actually measure each hat 3 times to verify the size, whether tagged or not. This was tagged and measures exactly to a 7-1/8 which is 22-3/8 inches. Size 7-1/8 or 57 or 22-3/8 inches. Width 14 inches, widest part of the hat, as is not flattened out. Tall Height 6 inches in the rear and 4.2 inches in the front. The Resistol box is very big! If you have any question please write. Dad seems to know quite a bit about this hat.
