Another one of dad's great Late 1960s through the 1970s. The Fort Worth model is one that was limited in manufacturing. The Las Vegas ended up being what took its place. Its still the original Cattleman style. There is a tag that states size 7-1/2 and The hat measures to an exact size 7-1/2 At 23-1/2 inches. We just cant say enough about this special hat! The new owner will be unique because its a one-of-a-kind!

This was found in dads hoard of hats. Please take a look at some of dads hats listed. Dating back to the 1890s, the very rare Stetson 1930s Nutria through many 1950s Stetsons, Resistol, Borsalino and many others.

Everyone should know by now that these old companies no longer exist making hats anymore. Stetson, Resistol and mast every company was bought out by HATCO and HATCO now makes all the hats using these great old companies Logos. It was a very sad day when this happened!

Like everything thats been changed the quality of hat thats made just isnt what it used to be. There are only a few great hat makers left here in the states. They are all private hat makers like Rocky Mountain hat Company, Greenly, OPTIMO, Powder River and others. They still make hats the old fashion way and continue to use the best quality materials. Please read condition, though it has a very old repair thats gong to last for many many years.

If you have any questions please write us. Behind that joint in the leather sweatband is a strip of hat leather that was glued to repair the joint. We tested it out and it still remains secure and firmly attached.

Size 7-1/2 Long Oval or 60 or 23-1/2 inches. Width 14 inches, not flattened out, at the widest part. Height 5.5 inches (center of the crown). String crown band 3/16 inch.
